Most Popular Nicotine Pouch Flavours in 2026: Sales Data
Every list of "most popular nicotine pouch flavours" you have read was somebody's opinion. This one is a till receipt. We pulled 180 days of our own order data, classified the 60 best-selling products by flavour family, and counted. Then we set the result against the 728 products on our shelf. If you want recommendations rather than data, our editorial guide to the best pouch flavours is the companion piece; this page is what people actually order.
The short answer
Fruit flavours take 54 percent of nicotine pouch orders and mint takes 39 percent, so fruit wins the basket. But mint is the biggest single flavour family and sells above its weight: it is 32 percent of the shelf and 39 percent of orders. The single best seller across 180 days of our order data is VELO Crispy Peppermint, just ahead of VELO Tropical Mango High Nic.

How we counted
The sample is our own order data: every order for our 60 best-selling products over the 180 days to 2 October 2026, which comes to 1,982 orders from our EU customers. Each product was classified into one flavour family by its actual taste profile, not its marketing name, so an iced grape counts as fruit, not mint, and a cola counts as cola, sweets and energy, not fruit. Shares are of orders, not revenue, so a 2.99 euro can and a 5.49 euro can weigh the same. Shelf figures come from the 728 products listed on our shelf on the same day. Two honest limitations. First, this is one retailer's basket, shaped by one retailer's shelf; a shop that stocks no value brands would see different brand shares. Second, the window still covers spring and summer, when iced fruit plausibly runs warmer. We will re-cut the data in winter and note any seasonal swing here.
Shelf vs basket
| Flavour | Share of products (728) | Share of top-seller orders (1,982) |
|---|---|---|
| Fruit (all families) | 53% | 54% |
| Mint | 32% | 39% |
| Coffee, cola, sweets and other | 14% | 7% |
Fruit fills the shelf, and the basket follows
Just over half of the products on our shelf are fruit flavours. The newer challenger brands launch mostly in fruit, which is how the shelf got there, and buyers follow: fruit takes 54 percent of top-seller orders. If you are picking a first pouch and defaulting to mint because it seems like the serious choice, know that most of the market went the other way. The flavour hub lets you browse by family.
Mint punches above its shelf space
Mint is a third of the shelf but nearly two fifths of the orders, and three of the ten best-selling products are mints, including the number one. The pattern makes sense: buyers explore with fruit, but a large share of them come back to the same peppermint every time. Mint is the reorder flavour.
The Europe note
This is EU data. In the United States, where the FDA authorization process has so far cleared a narrower flavour range, published sales skew far more heavily to mint. The European market, with its Scandinavian heritage tracked by outlets like Snusforumet, supports a much wider flavour culture. Comparing US and EU flavour statistics without noting this difference produces nonsense.
The best sellers, named
The top ten products by orders in the 180-day window: VELO Crispy Peppermint (89 orders), VELO Tropical Mango High Nic (85), VELO Freezing Peppermint Max (71), Cuba White Apple Juice (60), Pablo Exclusive Kiwi Strong (57), VELO Icy Cherry (55), then ZYN Black Cherry Mini (49), VELO Freezing Peppermint and Killa Grape Ice tied on 48, and VELO Blue Raspberry (47). The pattern in the names is the article's thesis in miniature: mango, apple, kiwi, cherry, grape and raspberry, with three peppermints holding the top of the chart for mint. Note also what kind of fruit wins. It is not subtle orchard fruit; the top of the chart is loud, iced and sweet. The live ranking updates continuously on our best sellers collection.
The top five, on the shelf
Brand shares
| Brand | Share of orders | Positioning |
|---|---|---|
| VELO | 34.5% | International, mild to extra strong |
| ZYN | 23.8% | International, mild to extra strong |
| Pablo | 12.1% | Challenger, strong to ultra |
| Rabbit | 6.1% | Value, ultra strong |
| Zeronito | 5.9% | Nicotine-free |
| Cuba | 3.9% | Value, strong to ultra |
| All others (Killa, White Fox, Loop, Clew, Helwit, Apres, XQS, Neafs, 77) | 13.8% | Mixed |
Two things stand out. The big two are genuinely big: VELO and ZYN hold 58 percent of top-seller orders between them, which matches their weight in search interest and shelf presence across Europe. But the challenger 42 percent is not a rounding error, and much of it clusters at the strong end: Pablo and Rabbit alone hold 18 percent, almost entirely with pouches above 20 mg. A separate detail worth one line: a nicotine-free brand holds 6 percent of top-seller orders, which says something real about who is buying pouches and why. Our European brand guide profiles the main brands in depth, and the nicotine-free range is here.
The strength skew
Matching the orders against the strength tier of each product produces the least intuitive finding on this page: what sells is stronger than what is stocked. Products in the strong tier and above make up 56 percent of our shelf but take 64 percent of top-seller orders. The biggest gap is in the middle: the strong tier, 9 to 12 mg per pouch, takes 27 percent of orders from 18 percent of the shelf, while the medium tier, 6 to 9 mg, takes 17 percent of orders from 27 percent of the shelf. We publish this as an observation about the market, not guidance; the right strength is a fit question covered properly in our strength guide, and the standardized per-pouch figures for each brand are in the Strength Index. For readers moving between tiers, do it gradually; our guide on changing pouch strength covers both directions. Why the strong end exists at these levels at all varies by country, since pouches sit largely outside the EU Tobacco Products Directive; industry coverage at 2Firsts tracks the live strength-cap debates, and the WHO maintains the broader picture on nicotine product regulation.
